Before your peak arrives, ours already has. We've expanded Australia's largest AMR fleet to over 350 robots, a deliberate investment in the infrastructure that keeps your busiest period running at full capacity.
Peak period doesn't expose what a fulfilment operation can do. It exposes what it can't. While many retailers are busy forecasting peak season sales and preparing marketing campaigns, the infrastructure decisions that dictate whether those orders are fulfilled accurately and on time have already been made. Ours have.
One of the most significant of those investments is in our warehouse automation. We have expanded our fleet of Geekplus autonomous mobile robots (AMRs), adding 78 new units across our network before the peak period begins and bringing our total fleet to over 350. This further extends our position as home to Australia's largest fleet of AI-powered AMRs, a deliberate, pre-emptive investment in throughput capacity for eStore customers.
How our AMRs work
For those unfamiliar with the technology: our AMRs are shelf-to-person picking robots that navigate the warehouse floor autonomously, retrieving inventory and bringing it directly to a pick station. No staff walking aisles, no manual retrieval. What makes a fleet this size exceptional is the coordination layer. Every robot communicates with the others in real time, navigating dynamically to avoid collisions and optimise traffic flow across the floor.
Our Geekplus P Series robots carry loads of up to 1 tonne and travel at speeds of up to 4.5 metres per second. They operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and have never misplaced an order.
The robots don't work alone. At each pick station, our team works alongside the AMRs equipped with wearable RF scanners, hands-free devices that communicate directly with our warehouse management system in real time, confirming each item and keeping our 99.9% accuracy rate consistent across every order and every shift. It's a deliberate combination: the speed and tirelessness of automation, paired with the judgement and dexterity of people.
Why this matters for your peak
The advantage of automated picking at this scale isn't just speed, it's the compounding effect on everything downstream. Picking up to four times faster than a traditional warehouse means more orders processed within the same window. And because our AMRs do their heaviest work between 7am and 6pm, we're able to maximise throughput during standard operating hours, when labour costs are at their most efficient, keeping our cost structure stable and our rates predictable for customers even as volumes surge.
The result: a 4PM same-day cut-off, 99.9% pick accuracy, and pricing that doesn't change when peak arrives.
Getting ahead of the infrastructure curve
For a 3PL, peak readiness isn't a dial you turn up in October. It requires close collaboration with our customers well in advance, understanding their volume forecasts, their SKU profiles and their promotional calendars, and then matching that with the physical and technological infrastructure to deliver. Expanding our AMR fleet is one of the most significant of those investments, and one that will continue to compound in value across every peak to come.
For brands already working with us, your Strategic Account Manager will be in touch as we move through peak preparation planning. If you're not yet an eStore customer and you're thinking about what your fulfilment operation needs to look like heading into the back half of the year, we'd welcome the conversation.
