May 26, 2021

The new 25,000 sqm dedicated facility will process thousands of orders a day

Melbourne, Australia, 26th May 2021 – Ecommerce fulfilment provider, eStore Logistics, has opened an exclusive fulfilment centre for online homewares and furniture retailer, Temple & Webster [ASX:TPW] in Derrimut, Victoria. The bespoke site will be the first dedicated facility set up by eStore Logistics for one client and will support Temple & Webster’s continued growth.

The fulfilment site, which was being leased by eStore, had to be fast-tracked due to the rapid increase in requirements from Temple & Webster. It will process thousands of furniture and homewares orders each day and support future growth from Temple & Webster.

The new warehousing facility has been designed specifically for safe storage, alongside fast and accurate dispatch of goods for Temple & Webster. It will also include bespoke transport and operations configurations that best suit Temple & Webster products, made possible by the exclusive, single-client tenancy.

This site is just the beginning for eStore Logistics, whose Founder, Leigh Williams, believes personalised fulfilment centres are a game-changing solution for their growing customers.

Leigh Williams, Managing Director, eStore Logistics, said: “We’re noticing a market for this type of personalised service. As businesses like Temple & Webster grow in size and orders they have more specialised fulfilment requirements. As true partners to our customers, we’re happy to build bespoke sites and grow alongside them. We’d love to do more of this work for our thriving customers and see it being a huge opportunity for our own business down the line.”

Numerous jobs are being created and eStore Logistics is currently hiring for the new site which is expected to require more than 90 new staff at its peak.

The Temple & Webster fulfilment centre is coming online in two phases. The first 12,835sqm is live and in operation now, and the second will be an additional 11,952sqm of fulfilment operations which will go live in September 2022.

Leigh added that “We’re proud of our 11-year partnership with Temple & Webster and have grown alongside them during this time. The rollout of personalised fulfilment centres is part of Temple & Webster’s strategy to future-proof the business against anticipated growth and increasing customer expectations. We’ve invested heavily to build a platform for growth that consists of well-trained warehouse staff, a strong management team, best in class logistics systems and processes, and Australia’s best ecommerce fulfilment capabilities which support fulfilment of any product sold online.”
